We are devoted to linking women to smart job and business opportunities, and we go the extra mile to prepare them for these opportunities. We establish viable connections via our events and new flexolution job portal. In the same year that we launched and hosted our first event (2009), we were finalists in the Kent on Sunday Business Awards.
Our key aims:
- To link women to smart job and business opportunities, particularly those wish to relaunch their careers after a career break
- To provide a platform where local employers can make lasting connections with skilled returning professionals
- To promote flexible working and provide a consultancy service to employers who want to implement flexible and smart working strategies
Our team:
VERONICA
Some years ago, a career in Industrial Chemistry beckoned for Veronica after graduating from university with a Bachelor of Science degree. Internships with an International Food Research Organisation and Plastic Manufacturing firm did little to quench Veronica’s passion for empowering people to succeed.
Her tenacity to break the mould and her desire to harness her skills led Veronica to pursue a career in People Development. She has put her knowledge in this area into practice through working with public and private sector organisations, helping to develop some innovative services focused on building inclusive, diverse and high-performing organisations.
Veronica possesses a Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management. She is a member of the Institute of Directors’ Kent’s Association of Young Entrepreneurs and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
Veronica’s passion for helping others manage and re-launch their careers following redundancy, maternity breaks etc., takes her to various organisations where she develops and facilitates career development and outplacement workshops to a range of professionals including senior managers and frontline staff. She speaks regularly at various events.
KARIS
Karis is an experienced trainer, mentor and a professional coach who is passionate about developing people. She helps people understand how they can best use their skills, knowledge and personality to leverage their success. Through workshops, seminars and master classes she shares her experience on various subjects including making an impact, networking, influencing, etc.
Since 1996, she has worked in the civil service in various capacities including training, managing change projects and developing government policy. More recently, her work has focused more on designing frameworks and developing people skills for communications, corporate partnerships and improving business processes.
She is a member of the Institute of Consulting, Coaches in Government Network and Government Communications Network. She also sits on the North Kent bench of Her Majesty’s Magistrates’ Court.
